What is a Metal Lean-To?
A metal Lean-To is single sloped structure that is usually built against another structure. There are two types of Lean-Tos:
-
A regular Lean-To is an additional single sloped structure that connects to another Metal Structure. Most companies will only connect to a structure they’ve built for liability reasons.
-
A free-standing Lean-To is technically unattached that is able to be installed very close to an existing structure, particularly, alongside mobile homes, RV Motorhomes, or double-wide homes.
Advantages of A Metal Lean-To
STAY OUT OF THE WEATHER
One of the best uses for a lean-to carport is to keep you protected from the weather when coming or going from a structure. For instance, if you have a side entrance to your home which is not currently covered, a lean-to could protect that space and make it more comfortable for you as you enter and exit. This is particularly attractive in harsh climates where rain and snow are common. Protecting the entrance could be good for the condition of the door and the area just inside the door over the long run as well.
FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE
To make a lean-to work for your needs, it will likely need to be customized to some degree. When you order from The Carport Experts, you can completely customize your design to perfectly match what you already have on your property. By working with our expert team, you’ll be able to craft something that can fit beautifully alongside your existing building.
AN AFFORDABLE SOLUTION
Turning to a metal lean-to carport is a far more affordable option than many of the other ways you could add on to your building to gain covered space. And, despite the modest price point, you will still be getting a product that is built to last and can stand up to rough weather conditions. If you have been putting off this kind of project because you were afraid of what it would do to your budget, set those fears to the side and see just how affordable it can be.
